Fundraiser supports Society's programs.

The Minnesota State Horticultural Society held its annual plant sale Saturday from its Roseville offices.  The organization has been at 2705 Lincoln Drive for about the past year and a half, said Horticultural Society CEO Rose Eggert.

The plant sale also included about dozen a vendors selling plants and related goods. Those vendors included Malcolm Burleigh, who had a stand of various cacti for sale.

Eggert said the Horticultural Society is 145 years old and has more than 15,000 members. She said the Society’s mission is to provide horticultural education to members through, among other things, classes and books.
