Ramsey County has partnered with the Minnesota Homeownership Center and NeighborWorks Home Partners to create and administer the Ramsey County Homeownership Preservation Program.

If you live in suburban Ramsey County (and not within the city limits of Saint Paul) and are facing COVID-related challenges that may affect your ability to stay in your home, limited financial assistance may be available to you.

Eligibility criteria includes:

  • Live in an owner-occupied property in Suburban Ramsey County (not City of St. Paul proper)
  • Are experiencing a housing emergency, defined as being unable to pay a bill that may affect your ability to live in the home.
  • Self-attest a COVID-related financial loss such as loss of income, increased health care costs, or costs associated with working from home.
  • Have a self-attested current household gross annual income of at or below 80% AMI
