Ramsey County Rice Street Bridge Between Ivy And Cottage Avenues Fully Reopens On February 26

Feb. 26 update: The inspection of the Rice Street bridge is complete and found that the bridge is safe and structurally sound for vehicle and truck traffic. All lanes are expected to reopen by the end of today.

Feb. 18 article:

Traffic is currently reduced to one lane in each direction on Rice Street between Ivy and Cottage avenues in Saint Paul. Traffic is shifted to the east half of the bridge. Please follow the posted signs.

The west half of the bridge is closed for further inspection and maintenance following a fire below the bridge. Initial inspections found the bridge is structurally sound.

The lane reductions will remain in place until further notice.
