Roseville-Area Chapter of League of Women Voters Holds Forums on Legislative Redistricting

Open meetings scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday

What is redistricting, and how will the process affect you and the people who represent you in the Legislature and in Congress? 

Those questions will be the focus of the Nov. 15-16 unit meetings of the Roseville-Maplewood-Falcon Heights chapter of the Minnesota League of Women Voters.

Presenters are long-time League members Carolyn Cushing, Judy Rosenblatt and Karen Schaffer. The Nov. 15 meeting will at the Little Venetian Restaurant, 2900 Rice Street, Little Canada.  A social hour and dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a meeting at 7 p.m. 

The Wednesday, Nov. 16 meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2561 N. Victoria Ave., Roseville.  The meetings are free and open to the public.
The League of Women Voters has worked for many decades to reform the redistricting process to provide more transparency and ensure a fair outcome.
