Roseville Church Undertakes Building Update

New roof, furnace among work at St. Michael's Lutheran.

St  Michael’s Lutheran Church in Roseville is in the midst of a building renovation program that parishioners hope puts their facility in good shape for years to come.

“After 55 years, the building needed some exterior work,” said Pastor Roland Hayes.

Since early June, the church’s renovation work has included tuckpointing exterior brick walls, putting on a new roof, increasing insulation and installing a new furnace and air conditioning, Hayes said.

He noted the congregation decided “let’s take care of all these things at one time. We are trying to be good stewards of the building.”

Weather permitting, St. Michael’s hopes to have its renovation work completed by about mid-September.
