Roseville Dairy Queens' Fundraiser Today
Portion of Blizzard sales earmarked for Gillette hospital.

Roseville's four Dairy Queen shops will participate in Miracle Treat Day on today (Aug. 11), a day-long fundraiser where a portion of all of the shops’ sales of Blizzard ice cream treats will be donated to the Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul.
The participating Roseville DQs are located at 3070 Lexington Ave. N.; 1739 Rice St.; 1720 Lexington Ave. N. and the Rosedale Center store, 10 Rosedale Center.
This will be the sixth annual Miracle Treat Daly for participating Dairy Queen locations in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Participating DQ stores and restaurants throughout North America plan to donate $1 or more per Blizzard Treat sold to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a national organization dedicated to raising awareness of and funds for children’s hospitals.

All monies raised by DQ operators in Minnesota and western Wisconsin will go towards Gillette. Last year, Gillette provided care to more than 23,000 children, including 244 kids from Roseville, according to DQ and Gillette officials.
Last year, participating DQ stores across Minnesota and western Wisconsin raised more than $235,000 on Miracle Treat Day, DQ and Gillette officials reported.

“We hope to see a snowstorm of activity on Aug. 11 as DQ locations throughout the region raise money for children with some of the most complex medical conditions seen today,” Darlis Clausen, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals manager at Gillette, said in a statement.
