Updated: Roseville High School Honored by National News Magazine
A U.S. News and World Report bestows "Silver Medal" distinction for Best High Schools in America. One of 463 schools in the country to receive that distinction.

A national news magazine has recently honored Roseville High School with its Silver Medal award for being among Best High Schools in America, District 623 officials said this week.
US News and World Report's ranking of Rosevile put the high school within the top 600 in the nation.
"The top 100 schools rated in the country received the Gold Award," Roseville school district officials said. "RAHS (Roseville Area High School) is one of eleven schools in Minnesota to be given the Silver Award recognition, which included only 463 of the nearly 22,000 high schools rated nationally".

“Being named a US News and World Report Silver Medal high school is a shining example of what happens when exceptional students and staff work together towards a common goal," said Jenny Loeck, principal at Roseville High School. "We truly believe that all students are achievers and will leave RAHS fully prepared for college.”
According to the US News site, “A three-step process determined the best high schools. The first two steps ensured that the schools serve all their students well, using state proficiency standards as the benchmarks. For those schools that made it past the first two steps, a third step assessed the degree to which schools prepare students for college-level work.”
