Roseville Police Academy for Citizens Coming in September

Program gives residents an inside look at how police carry out law enforcement activities and crime prevention.

The Roseville Police Department's 2013Β Citizen Police AcademyΒ is slated to start Sept. 5 and run through Oct. 24.Β 

The free weekly classes will be held on Thursdays fromΒ 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive.Β Space is limited and the class fills quickly, so get your registration in soon. Β 

According to the city, class members will get an inside look at how the police carry out law enforcement and crime prevention.Β

"You'llΒ learn about crime and crime prevention and what police officers, detectives, and K-9 units do when on duty," according to a city news releaseΒ Β "Guest speakers, discussions, tours, and hands-on activities Β will be held toΒ provide an insider’s look at the tasks and challenges that the police and support staff face."
