Roseville Representatives To Meet and Greet at State Fair

Greiling, Scalze among state House members slated for Great Minnesota Get Together.

Roseville area lawmakers Mindy Greiling and Bev Scalze are scheduled to be at the House of Representatives' booth during the 12-day run of the Minnesota State Fair to greet visitors.

Greiling, House District 54A, is scheduled to greet Fair visitors from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Aug. 31. Later that same day, House 54B Rep. Scalze will be at the booth from 2 to 4 p.m.

The exhibit will be located in the northeast corner of the Education Building on Cosgrove Street just north of Dan Patch Avenue.

Besides visiting with various state House members, Fairgoers also will be able to voice their opinions on a number of state issues by participating in the annual Minnesota State Fair Poll at the House of Representatives booth.

This year’s questions cover such topics as publicly funded preschool education for all children, expanding gambling, and adding clothing to the list of taxable items.
Although not scientific, ballot results give a heads up to what Minnesotans think about some high-profile issues, according to House officials. A list of this year’s poll questions is available on the House website, and poll results are expected to be available on the site Sept. 6.
