Roseville Restaurant's Plans For Concession Truck On Hold
State shutdown means no Health Department inspection or licensing.

For Rob Delmont, a co-owner of Café Zia in Roseville, the state government shutdown has been somewhat bad timing for his sandwich and salad restaurant.
“We have a concession truck we are trying to get up and running,” Delmont said, “We have had some delay. Now, we have to wait.”
That’s because the restaurant has been unable to get its 21-foot, 1970s truck inspected and licensed by the state Department of Health, Delmont said. Barring the general state government shutdown, Café Zia would already have its concession truck out on the streets and hitting community festivals, including municipal summer concerts, he said.

Still, the delay hasn’t been all bad, Delmont admitted, noting it has given his eatery more time to work on the truck and graphics for it.
“Who knows when this (shutdown) will be over,” he said.
