Here is a synopsis of the play: In the ruins of an unnamed disaster, seven individuals are mysteriously drawn together by the tinkling sounds of a music box and a sleeping child. Cautiously, the group begins a storytelling effort to calm and entertain the child, but soon the stories take on lives of their own.

Brokenville, directed by Joy Donley, with "found object" Stomp-like soundscape directed by Michael Pearce Donley, is a modern piece that mixes both theatrical and child-like storytelling with a bit of mystery. The characters onstage have experienced trauma and have lost their memories. They take on names from what they are wearing or carrying, and we slowly realize their stories have much more depth than the simple fairy tales they tell.
