Shape Me Group Fitness Plans Webcasting to Grow Its Business

Partnership with Netbriefings will help the Roseville fitness studio broadcast professional live and on-demand corporate and personal fitness programs.

Shape Me Group Fitness said Thursday (May 16) it is partnering with Netbriefinga, a webcasting service, to grow its business. 

The Roseville-based fitness studio, 2819 Hamline Ave., said it will be using Netbriefings' production facilities to disseminate live and on-demand corporate and personal fitness programs. 

Shape Me's new partnership comes after St. Paul-based Netbriefings helped it deploy video and live camera feeds at its Roseville exercise studio.

In a press statement, Netbriefings CEO Gary Anderson said, "With significant infrastructure already in place to deliver content to thousands, our controlled studio environment- along with our video technology and production expertise- will enable the delivery of more polished live and on-demand video content for Shape Me as well as our other customers."

Shape Me said it will be using Netbriefings’ video production studio for a live eight-week health and wellness series that will touch on living a healthy life. (See Health and Wellness site.)  Members will have access to the series through a secure site on their desktop computers. "Delivery options also include a private television channel for live streaming and on-demand viewing as well as iOS mobile devices," the company said.

For further information on the health and wellness series, you can attend the "Shape Me Indiegogo Kickoff" event from 3 to 9 p.m. May 31 at Netbriefings' production studio, 421 Wabasha Street N. 2nd Floor   Participants also can attend via a live streaming webcast.

Shape Me Group Fitness opened in early 2012, taking 2,700 square feet of a space formerly occupied by a church. The studio was founded and is operated by Andserson's wife, Ritzelda, (nickname  "Ritzy"). 

Shape Me Group Fitness offers a variety of exercise and fitness classes, including Zumba dance. Flexible membership plans are available.
