Roseville To Hold Review Session Thursday on County Road C2 Plans

City to show preliminary plans for parking, sidewalks, streetscapes and storm sewer improvements.

The city of Roseville will hold an informal public meeting on Thursday to allow residents to review construction plans for connecting County Road C2 between Hamline and Lexington avenues.

City staff will be available from 5:30 until 7 p.m. to discuss preliminary plans concerning parking, sidewalks, streetscapes and storm sewer improvements on C2.

The building plans for the County Road C2 connection follow the City Council's decision in October to approve the east-west connection on a split 3-2 vote and more than 70 residents in attendance. One group favored the project (mostly residence from Josephine Road to the north) while another faction opposed road connection. The Council's action ended almost a 20-year debate about the road.
