Update: Thao, Azer, Edstrom Win Roseville School Board Election
Incumbent Thomas Ring loses in re-election bid.
Latest update: With 100 percent of 17 precincts reporting, Kaying Thao topped the field of six candidates Tuesday night to win one of three seats to the Roseville District 623 School Board.
Other winners were: Erin Azer and incumbent Chairwoman Lisa Edstrom. Losing were Mike Boguszewski, incumbent Thomas Ring and Christopher Heinze.

Thao, 2,220 votes, 21.48 percent
Azer 2,175 votes, 21.05 percent

Edstrom 1,788 votes, 17.30 percent
Boguszewski, 1,472 votes, 14,24 percent
Ring 1468 votes, 14.21 percent
Heinze, 1160 votes, 11.23 percent .

Reported earlier Tuesday:
Board Chairwoman and director , were seeking re-election. Edstrom was seeking a second four-year term; Ring was running for a third term.
Edstrom and Ring were challenged by, Shoreview; i, and all of Roseville.
Shari Dion, who is currently on the board, decided not to seek re-election.
Earlier in the day, at Precinct 3 in Roseville (at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church), head election judge Kathleen Ortloff said voter turnout had been light.
And as of about 4 p.m. today, head election judge Kathy Ingulsrud at Roseville Precinct 2 (Roseville Covenant Church) also reported slow voting. With about four hours left for voters to cast their ballots, about 150 residents had come to the polls at her precinct, Ingulsrud said.
Gordy Gutzmann, an election judge during the past 10 years, called voter turnout at Precinct 2 "super slow."
