A special meeting of the Roseville District 623 School Board to set a preliminary levy is set for this evening (Tuesday).
The board originally planned to set the preliminary levy Sept. 13, but was unable to do so because it had not received required information from the state, due to the budget shutdown last summer. On Sept. 13, the board set two alternative dates to set the preliminary levy: Sept. 27 or Oct 4.
Because the needed information was not available in mid-September, the board scheduled Oct. 4 to set the preliminary levy. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the District Center, 1251 County Road B2 W.

The deadline for submitting preliminary levy approval to the state is Fridayi, Oct. 7.
