Roseville School District Forming Citizen Involvement Council
Applications are now being accepted through Nov. 12 for the new Involvement/Communication Advisory Council.

Roseville Area Schools is forming a new standing group called the Involvement/Communication Advisory Council (ICAC) to provide it advice and recommendations on how to increase the district's communication and outreach with citizens.
The District is now accepting applications for the ICAC. Council members will provide advice, feedback and recommendations on district communication topics (i.e. social media, website, news releases and other public relations topics), solicit creative ideas for increasing a variety of outreach activities that provide a positive image of the District, and provide advice and recommendations on the Roseville Area Schools Community Vision Card.

Roseville Area Schools’ Purpose, Vision, Core Values, Equity Vision and District Goals will guide the work of the Involvement/Communication Advisory Council when developing their recommendation to the District.
The Involvement/Communication Advisory Council will be made up of up to 18 members from a cross section of the community. The council will work under the direction of the district's director of community education and public relations.

The District is seeking students, parents, and community members with experience and/or interest in communication, public relations, and technology.

Applications are due Nov.12 and can be submitted via email to pr@isd623.org or mailed to Roseville Area Schools Public Relations, 1910 County Road B West, Roseville, MN 55113.
The group will convene five times a year, with meetings set for Monday evenings at Fairview Community Center, 1910 County Road B, Roseville. Meeting dates for the 2012-13 school year are Nov. 26, Jan. 28, Feb. 25, April 29, and May 20. Members are asked to serve a two year term.
