Roseville Task Force Looks to Build Citizen Involvement
Civic engagement focus of group.

A special committee of the Roseville Human Rights Commission is scheduled to meet tonight to continue looking at how the city can foster citizen participation and decision-making in the community’s local government.
Known as the Civic Engagement Task Force, the group is developing a work plan to review Roseville’s policies and practices on such things as whether and how renters are notified of zoning hearings and other public decisions and how to make the most of neighborhood forums and organizations. It also is planning to review how other municipalities promote and involve residents in decision-making.
Roseville city officials have said they hope that greater citizen involvement in city  government will help build and grow a greater sense of community.
