Rough Winter Takes a Toll on Cedarholm Golf Course

After weeks of waiting for the passing of winter snows, Roseville's Cedarholm Golf Course opened Sunday for the 2013 season.  

"Golf enthusiasts were ecstatic to get the chance to be outside and enjoy the nice temperatures finally,'' said Roxann Maxey, clubhouse manager for the municipal golf course.

However Maxey added, "With the extension of winter our course did suffer ice damage on an assortment of greens and tees.  The grounds crew have started the recovery process and hope to have the course looking in tip top shape in the upcoming weeks."

Cedarholm Golf Course is home to Ladies Leagues M-TH mornings, Senior Leagues Friday mornings and evening leagues which begin this week, just in time for the weather to break, Maxey said.
