Scouting Event Slated Saturday at Roseville's Central Park

Event called "Scout Out The Fun."

A "Scout Out the Fun Day," a free and fun way to learn about the Boy and Girl Scouts programs, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 10) at Roseville's Centrlal Park, Lexington Avenue and County Road C.

Kids ages 5 and older will be able to try out more than 15 fun activities including games, disk golf, target sports and catapult firing, according to officials from the Northern Star Council of the Boy Scouts of America in St. Paul. There will be sampling of Dutch oven cooking.

Information on joining and registration forms for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts will be available.

The Scouting area covered by the event includes the Mounds View and Roseville School Districts in Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, and Shoreview.
