Soaring Temps Put The Heat on State Fair Attendance
Early this afternoon, there were still parking places at the park-and-ride lot at Grace Church Roseville.
With temperatures soaring into the mid-90s today (Monday), attendants at free park-and-ride lots in Roseville say that attendance appears to be lagging at the Minnesota State Fair.
At the park-and-ride lot at Grace Church Roseville, attendant Ron Ebbighausen said that parking activity has been slow." It's been real quiet since 12:30 or 1 p.m."
In fact, State Fair attendance has been so sluggish that Ebbighausen said he has not had to help people find parking places because so many have been available.
