Suffering Loss and Grief? Here's a Program To Help

The six-week series starts Sept. 17 at Roseville Lutheran Church.

Editor's note: The following news release was submitted by Rita Goldhammer, a Twin Cities-area life coach, grief specialist and co-leader of Pivotal Crossings.

Anyone experiencing grief or loss is invited to attend  “Growing Through Loss,” a six-week series providing support for those who have lost a spouse, child, parent, friend or sibling; or for those dealing with a divorce or separation; pregnancy loss; loss to suicide; job change; or relocation.

"Understanding Grief and Loss” presented by Judy Connolly, D.Min. Chaplain, University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, kicks off the fall series on Monday, September 17.  This is the first of six consecutive Monday sessions, held through October 22, at Roseville Lutheran Church in Roseville, 1215 Roselawn Ave W, Roseville, MN 55113.

Each weekly session begins with registration at 6:45 p.m., followed by a professional speaker at 7 p.m., and small group gatherings from 8 to 9 p.m.  There is no fee but donations are welcome.  Free childcare is available, but please call a week in advance so they are prepared for your children.
