Sundeen Named Insurance Agent of the Year

The Roseville resident is a vice-president of Maguire Agency.

The Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers (MIIAB) has named Matt Sundeen,  Maguire Agency’s vice president of sales and commercial lines producer, as Agent of the Year for 2013

"Sundeen was chosen for his commitment to the industry, to clients and to the community," according to a press statement.

“Matt approaches everything in life with enthusiasm and dedication,” said Matt Clysdale,  president of Maguire. That “benefits our agency, clients, the insurance industry and the local community, where he devotes considerable volunteer time. This award is much deserved," Clysdale added.

Sundeen, of Roseville, has been with the Maguire Agency since 1994.

According to a press statement, Sundeen "is involved in the insurance industry and the greater business community serving on several boards, including three terms on the International Association of Structural Movers board, and past presidencies of the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents Region 9 and the MidStates Housemovers Association, where he continues to serves on multiple committees.

Sundeen is also active in the community, serving as a board member and coach for the Roseville Area Youth Hockey Association, past chair of the Roseville Education Planning Advisory Committee; and past president of the Roseville 707 Rotary Club and Roseville Area Schools Foundation.

Matt and his wife Karen are also volunteers at their church and children’s schools. "
