City Council meeting, trash forum, Wild Rice Festival a sampling of what's ahead.

Here is a sampling of some of the things happening in Roseville this week:
Monday: City Council meeting starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. Items include resolutions on pawn broker licenses, new fire station and limits on pawnbroker licenses.
Tuesday:  The Roseville School Board is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. at the district center, 1251 West County Road B-2. Agenda items include a budget update.Â

Wednesday: Roseville’s Neighborhood and Community Engagement Task Force is sponsoring a community forum to discuss how residents can become more involved in governement and get their voices heard at City Hall. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Rose Room at the Roseville Skating Center, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville.
Thursday:The Roseville Citizens League will hold an educational forum exploring the pros and cons of organized trash collection. The meeting is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fairview Community Center, 1910 County Road B West.

Saturday: Friends of Roseville's Harriet Alexander Nature Center will hold their eighth annual  Wild Rice Festival at the Nature Center, 2520 N. Dale St., Roseville.  The fundraiser goes from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Events include a pancake breakfast and silent auction.Â
