Twin Cities Suburban Restaurant Ranks Among 100 Most Romantic In U.S.

MINNESOTA — Just in time for Valentine’s Day, OpenTable has released its annual list of the most romantic restaurants in America, which includes one from Roseville, Minnesota

The reservation service released its 2025 iteration of the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America, an elite list developed from more than 12 million diner reviews and other metrics, the site said.

Baldamar — located in Roseville at County Road B2 and Snelling Avenue — "marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak," the restaurant says.

“It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute. At the bar sits every spirit imaginable, and someone who isn’t afraid to use them. This is more than a new steakhouse. It’s a line in the sand. It’s not just where you celebrate special occasions. It’s where you create them.”

The full list includes restaurants in 34 states and Puerto Rico. States with the most restaurants on the list were California with 11, Ohio with 9, and Florida and Virginia with six each.

One thing to keep in mind. Reservations book up quickly, with about half gone two weeks before Valentine’s Day, according to OpenTable.
