Update: Roseville's Dale Street Project Continues
Road grading, final utility installations occurring this week.

Road grading and final utility installations are taking place this week as work crews continue on a $920,000 project to reconstruct about a half-mile segment of Dale Street from County Road C to Owasso Boulevard in Roseville.
The city of Roseville, in an update issued Wednesday, said that retaining wall installation is also scheduled this week. For the week of Aug. 15, scheduled work includes road grading, curb and gutter installation and continued retaining wall work.
During the week of Aug. 22, the city expects the project’s general contractor- North Valley Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota.- to replace a railroad crossing.

City Engineer Debra Bloom said recently the Dale Street project involves a new roadway and replacement of water mains, storm sewers and sanitary sewers.Â
The city’s construction schedule includes watermain replacement from Iona Lane to a railroad crossing and Xcel Energy relocating utility poles.

Construction on the project began in May and the city said it expects to complete work by Oct. 14.
When finished, the reconstructed road will be 35 feet wide with a three-foot wide sidewalk. Previously, this segment of Dale Street was 38 feet wide, Bloom said.Â
