Video:Roseville's John Marty Speaking at Vikings Stadium Hearing
Questions, testimony resumes on whether and where should be a new stadium for the Minnesota Vikings.

Roseville state Sen. John Marty is part of the joint committee hearing testimony on financing for a future Minnesota Vikings stadium Tuesday afternoon.
Marty serves on, among others, the Senate Tax Committee. He is its ranking DFL minority member.
Among the methods of funding a stadium to be discussed is personal seat licensing, which at least one is not enthused about.

This is the second informational session the joint committee has held on the stadium issue.
There has been an ongoing and spirited debate regarding how much of a new football stadium should be paid for by the Vikings. The site for the stadium (if it becomes a reality) is also up in the air.

The Vikings favor a site in Arden Hills. The Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce, whose territory includes Roseville, favors the Arden Hills site. But the city of Minneapolis has offered three possible sites in its community.
Meanwhile, Marty is part of a bi-partisan group that has proposed essentially selling the Metrodome to the Vikings for a $1 and let the team rebuild there, in a bid to avoid big state subsidies for the project
