Workshop Session to Take a 3-D Look at Fire Station Property Redevelopment

The second of four workshops is scheduled for Thursday night at King of Kings Lutheran Church.

The Roseville Housing and Redevelopment Authority (RHRA) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday will hold the second in a series of four workshops on future development for the Dale Street Fire Station site.

The HRA, with support from a team of design and development experts, is inviting local residents to explore what future housing development is possible for the site.

Thursday's  two-hour "meeting will be especially interesting as the residents will be using blocks to create 3-D representations on what type of development they would like to see on the properties,''  Pat Trudgeon, Roseville director of community development, told Roseville Patch. 

This session and two other remaining ones are scheduled to held at . All are free and open to the public.

Earlier this month, the HRA held the first workshop earlier this month with that meeting focusing on current housing needs in the community and what are the concerns about future development

Workshop III: Developer Panel

Tuesday, May 14, 2013: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Explore development opportunities and challenges with a panel of developers, market consultant and city representatives to build a strategic road map for the future of Dale Fire Station.

Workshop IV: Framing the Recommendations

Tuesday, May 28, 2013: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Contribute to the creation of development recommendations for Dale Fire Station, which will be submitted to the RHRA and City Council.
