Jacobson Elementary principal Alicia Nelson has been named MESPA’s 2025 Central Division Leadership Award recipient for her work in Rush City Schools. Her leadership has expanded mental health partnerships, strengthened social-emotional learning, and created innovative supports that aim to remove barriers so local students can thrive academically and personally.
