ST. PAUL, MN — Minnesota has the 24th-best public school system in the country, according to a new report from WalletHub.
WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 32 key metrics and accounts for performance, funding, safety, class size, and instructor credentials.
"Securing a child’s academic success begins with choosing the right schools," WalletHub states. "It’s important for parents to find a school system that will provide their children with all the resources they need to thrive, both academically and emotionally."

The study finds that Minnesota's neighbors all have better school systems, especially Wisconsin at No. 5.
