ARDEN HILL, MN — Bethel University announced Monday it will cut its College of Arts & Sciences tuition from $44,050 to $25,990 for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The new tuition will more accurately reflect the actual cost of attending Bethel, addressing the growing confusion surrounding U.S. college pricing, according to the university.

"With a clear price, our goal is to empower students and their families to make informed decisions and focus on what truly matters: their education and their future," said Ross Allen, president of Bethel University, in a news release.

Starting fall 2025, the new tuition structure will apply to all current and incoming undergraduate students in Bethel's College of Arts & Sciences.

New students will start with the new rates, and returning students will have their financial aid packages adjusted to reflect the new, lower cost, the university promised.
