From the humble beginnings of the first Toastmasters club in Santa Ana, California, founded by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley in 1924, to becoming a global network of leaders, Toastmasters International has consistently helped people turn fear into confidence and ideas into action. Today, clubs around the world carry on Smedley's vision, offering a safe space for individuals to practice speaking, receive feedback, and develop leadership capabilities.
