Photos: Dylan Jungwirth, Accused Of Assaulting Clerk Near MN State Fair Grounds, Still At Large

Dylan Jungwirth, 21, is wanted in connection with three Ramsey County gas station robberies, the sheriff said.


RAMSEY COUNTY, MN — The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding Dylan Jungwirth, 21, who remains at large after a string of armed gas station robberies on Sunday that triggered a countywide emergency alert.

Authorities said three gas stations were robbed in quick succession on Aug. 17:

  • 6:54 a.m. — Speedway, 2200 block of Rice Street in Roseville
  • 8:34 a.m. — BP, 300 block of Little Canada Road in Little Canada
  • 9:05 a.m. — BP, 3100 block of Cleveland Avenue in Roseville, where a clerk was physically assaulted

Deputies pursued a suspect vehicle into St. Paul, where it crashed near Pierce Butler and Prior avenues. One suspect was arrested at the scene, but two others fled on foot into nearby woods. That manhunt prompted the Minnesota State Fair Police Department to request a countywide emergency alert, which buzzed phones Sunday morning.

By late morning, officials declared the search area clear, though residents reported that not everyone received the initial alert.

Since then, one more suspect has been arrested, but Jungwirth remains at large.

Investigators said Jungwirth is accused of holding a gun to the back of a clerk’s head during one of the robberies. He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds, and living on the 2000 block of County Road F in White Bear Lake.

Anyone who sees Jungwirth or knows where he is should call 911 immediately.
