Here Are All 33 New Foods Coming To The 2025 Minnesota State Fair
The Great Minnesota Get-Together adds 33 new eats and 8 fresh vendors for 2025—here's every item hitting the fairgrounds.
MINNESOTA — The Minnesota State Fair has unveiled 33 new official foods for 2025, along with eight new vendors. See photos of each in the gallery above.
The State Fair also has a map to find the locations of the new foods.
The 2025 Minnesota State Fair will run from Aug. 21 through Labor Day, Sept. 1.

Here’s the full list of new foods, in order:
- Afro Bean Pops – Deep-fried black-eyed pea bites with onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and spices. Served with spicy red chili sauce and greens. (Vegan, Gluten Free)
- Athena's Whipped Feta – Whipped feta topped with green schug, olive oil, toasted wild rice, and fried pita chips. (Vegetarian)
- Birthday Cake Cookie Dough On-A-Stick – Sprinkle-covered cake batter cookie dough with a crunchy shell. (Vegetarian)
- Bison Meatball Sub – Bison-bacon meatballs with gravy, pickled cucumbers, fried onions, and sour cream on a wild rice hoagie.
- Cannoli Gelato Nachos – Cannoli chips topped with cannoli-flavored gelato, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and a cherry. (Vegetarian)
- Caprese Curds – Fried mozzarella curds with tomato-basil bruschetta and balsamic glaze, served with crostini. (Vegetarian)
- Cherry Bigfoot Limeade Float – Limeade with cherry Dole Soft Serve, lime slice, and cherry garnish. (Vegan, Gluten Free)
- Chicken-Fried Bacon Fries – Tempura-fried beef bacon strips with a choice of sweet-hot or BBQ dipping sauce.
- Cinna-sugar Crust Tidbits – Cinnamon-sugar pie crust strips with whiskey caramel sauce. (Vegetarian, Vegan on request)
- Croffle Cloud – Croissant waffle with sweet cream, fruit drizzle, and cotton candy in three flavors. (Vegetarian)
- Deep-Fried Tofuego Bites – Spicy breaded tofu on pineapple-cabbage slaw, topped with sesame and scallions. (Vegan)
- Dill Pickle Iced Tea – Black tea with dill pickle flavor, rimmed with chamoy, Tajín, and served with a pickle spear. (Vegan, Gluten Free)
- Fawaffle – Falafel cooked in a waffle iron, topped with tahini butter, hummus, cherry tomatoes, herbs, and sesame. (Vegetarian)
- Flauta Dippers – Shredded chicken in fried corn tortillas, served in salsa with sour cream and cotija cheese.
- Freaky Fryday – Chicken-fried vegan bacon and fried “chicken” strips with optional wild toppings. (Vegan)
- Grandma Doreen’s Dessert Dog – Ice cream between slices of coffee cake on-a-stick, with jam, whipped cream, and sprinkles. (Vegetarian)
- Green Apple Sucker Ice Cream – Tart green apple ice cream with caramel swirls. (Vegetarian, Gluten Free)
- Hot Honey Jalapeño Popper Donut – Donut frosted with jalapeño cream cheese, topped with bacon, jalapeños, and hot honey.
- Hot Honey Pizza Ballzz – Pizza dough balls filled with curds, pepperoni, and herbs, topped with garlic butter and hot honey.
- Hula Kalua Pork – Hawaiian-style smoked pork with banana chips and pickled cucumbers on banana leaf.
- Land of 10,000 Cakes – Butter brittle ice cream sundae with three mini cupcakes: crème brûlée, pistachio, and chocolate. (Vegetarian)
- Patisserie Sweets (2 Varieties):
- Apple Glaze: Honeycrisp pull-apart donut with streusel and maple glaze.
- Banana S’more: Brown-butter cake with bananas, marshmallow, and chocolate. (Vegetarian)
- Pimento Cheese Puffs – Pimento cheese in puff pastry, deep fried and served with pepper jelly. (Vegetarian)
- Pizza Cheese Curd Tacos – Pizza-flavored cheese curds in a taco shell with marinara and Parmesan.
- Pot of Gold Potato Dumplings – Deep-fried mashed potato dumplings with Top the Tater dip. (Vegetarian)
- Shrimp & Pork Toast On-A-Stick – Pork and shrimp spread on Texas toast, fried and served with apricot hot sauce.
- Smashadilla – Ground beef and Gouda quesadilla with caramelized onions, pickles, lettuce, and burger sauce.
- Somali Street Fries – Somali-style spiced beef, veggies, and cheese on fries, topped with garlic and hot sauces.
- Sweet Squeakers – Funnel cake battered white cheddar curds topped with lemon whipped cream and berry drizzle. (Vegetarian)
- Tandoori Chicken Quesaratha – Spiced chicken, cheese, peppers, and chilis in paratha bread, with avocado-lime sauce.
- Timber Twists – Sausage, mozzarella, and cream cheese in manicotti, wrapped in bacon and smoked.
- Triple Chocolate Mini Donuts – Chocolate donuts with icing, sprinkles, and chocolate chips, served in a chocolate-rimmed bucket. (Vegetarian)
- Uncrustaburger – A burger patty with cheese and pickles between two deep-fried PB&J Uncrustables.

- Greater Tater – Jumbo stuffed tater tots in five savory varieties. (Gluten Free)
- Lumpia City – Filipino-style lumpia: pizza and ube banana French toast flavors.
- Magdalena's Chimney Cakes – Hungarian chimney pastries filled with ice cream and toppings.
- Midtown Global Market's Irie Jamaican – Jerk or BBQ oxtail, coconut shrimp, plantains, and hibiscus drinks. (Aug. 27–Sept. 1 only)
- Midtown Global Market's Oasis Grill & Hoyo Sambusa – Somali fries, sambusas, and slushies. (Aug. 21–26 only)
- Urban Glow Mocktails – Craft nonalcoholic cocktails and mini hot dogs in Hawaiian rolls
