Man Struck, Killed By Metro Transit A Line Bus In St. Paul

ST. PAUL, MN — One person was struck and killed by a Metro Transit bus early Wednesday morning in St. Paul's Highland Park neighborhood.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Macalester Street and Ford Parkway, according to police.

A Metro Transit A Line bus was headed east on Ford Parkway when a man crossed in front of the bus. Life-saving treatment was provided, but the man died at the scene, according to police.

The bus driver was placed on standard administrative leave while the crash is investigated.
