Minnesota’s Tommy Brennan Schneeman Joins 'Saturday Night Live'

Minnesota comedian Tommy Brennan Schneeman was named to the Saturday Night Live cast just two months after his Fallon appearance.

ST. PAUL, MN — A familiar face from St. Paul is heading to Studio 8H. Tommy Brennan Schneeman, who graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall in 2012, has officially joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live."

"We’re thrilled to share that Tommy Brennan Schneeman ’12 has officially joined the cast of Saturday Night Live!" Cretin-Derham Hall announced this week.

Brennan grew up in a big Midwestern family as one of eight kids, and his Minnesota roots shaped much of his comedy. After high school, he went on to the University of Notre Dame, where he studied accounting.

Brennan spent a few years working on Cameo before pursuing stand-up full-time in 2018. Since then, his clips have gained millions of views online. He was selected as a "New Face" at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and has appeared on Comedy Central.

In addition to co-hosting the web series and podcast Roommates-In-Law, Brennan made his late-night debut just two months ago when he performed stand-up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
