The board of commissioners has declared January 2022 as Health Care Month to honor and celebrate the contributions of the health care industry and all health care workers in Ramsey County.

Health care is a critically important industry, crucial to not only the health and well-being of all Minnesotans but also to the strength of Minnesota’s economy. Health care workers have been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic for many months, enduring long hours and stressful conditions, saving countless lives – they deserve to be celebrated for their dedication.
Commissioner Ortega read the proclamation and county leaders were joined by Commissioner Steve Grove of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, Laura Beeth, vice president of talent acquisition at Fairview Health Services and resident Archeiion Miles offered remarks.
