Ramsey County Government: Cleveland Avenue Closed For Utility Work Beginning September 20

These sections will be open overnight to maintain residential and University of Minnesota access.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 20, Cleveland Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Dudley Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue for utility work. A signed detour will be in place using Como Avenue, Eustis Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue.

Flaggers will control traffic during the day on two sections of Cleveland Avenue:

These sections will be open overnight to maintain residential and University of Minnesota access.

The closure and flaggers are expected to last through mid-October.

Major reconstruction of Cleveland Avenue from Como Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue is still planned to begin in 2022 after the project was delayed this construction season.
