“With COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations rising again in our communities as a result of the much more contagious Delta variant, it’s more important than ever that everyone who is eligible gets vaccinated,” said Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health Director Sara Hollie. “We hope these gift cards are the extra incentive for people to take the most effective step in protecting themselves and their families by getting the COVID-19 vaccine at one of our clinics at schools, community centers, or “pop-up” sites at events and community locations.”
Individuals no matter where they live are eligible and encouraged to get a vaccine and a gift card. The county’s incentive will only be given out for COVID-19 vaccinations received at a Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health-operated clinic starting Friday, Aug. 13. They will not be available for vaccinations from a pharmacy, medical provider or other clinics not operated by Ramsey County.
