ST. PAUL, MN — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for much of the Twin Cities east metro area after passing through the west metro.

"This storm has already produced measured wind gusts of 61 mph at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie," the NWS said.

Threats include wind gusts up to 60 mph and pea-sized hail.
