St. Paul Man, 31, Killed After Tesla Slams Into SUV Off I-94 Ramp: State Patrol
The Minnesota State Patrol said the Tesla exited I-94 at a high rate of speed before hitting a Toyota RAV4 at Dale Street.

SAINT PAUL, MN — Authorities have identified the man killed in a high-speed crash early Wednesday on the eastbound Interstate 94 ramp to Dale Street in St. Paul.
According to an updated Minnesota State Patrol report, Benjamin Michael Villano, 31, of St. Paul, died after his 2005 Toyota RAV4 was struck by a 2024 Tesla Model 3 that exited the freeway at a high rate of speed around 2:56 a.m.
Patch previously reported that the Tesla collided with the RAV4 as it crossed the intersection at the bottom of the Dale Street exit ramp.

The Tesla’s driver, Musab Ibrahim Kosar, 22, of Fridley, and his passenger, Suban Geer, 19, of St. Paul, were taken to Regions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
Investigators said road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. The report did not indicate whether alcohol was a factor.
