St. Paul Snow Emergency: Must Know Plowing Schedule, Parking Rules
The Snow Emergency is expected to last for 96 hours, running through 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23.

ST. PAUL, MN — The city of Saint Paul has declared a Snow Emergency, which will go into effect at 9 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Dec. 9.
The emergency will trigger plowing operations on all Night Plow Routes throughout the city.
Residents are urged to move their vehicles from Night Plow Routes to avoid ticketing and towing. These routes include Downtown St. Paul and streets that are marked with signs reading "NIGHT PLOW ROUTE" and "NIGHT PLOW ROUTE THIS SIDE OF STREET."

Vehicles left on these routes after 9 p.m. will be ticketed and towed.
Plowing of Day Plow Routes will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20. Unlike Night Plow Routes, Day Plow Routes are not marked by signs.

If there are no "Night Plow" signs posted within a block, then that area is considered a Day Plow Route. Vehicles parked on Day Plow Routes after 8 a.m. on Friday will also face ticketing and towing.

During this time, residents are asked to avoid parking in areas that have not been plowed to the curb. Always follow posted street signs to prevent fines and the inconvenience of having your vehicle towed.
