Unbelted Driver, 21, Dies After Subaru Rolls And Hits SUV On I-694
State Patrol says the Subaru crossed lanes, struck a guardrail, rolled, and hit a Honda CR-V on Tuesday evening.
ARDEN HILLS, MN — A 21-year-old Brooklyn Park woman who was not wearing a seat belt died Tuesday evening after her car rolled and struck an SUV on Interstate 694, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash happened at 6:26 p.m. near Highway 10 in Arden Hills.
Investigators said a westbound 2011 Subaru Legacy crossed from the right lane into the left shoulder, hit a guardrail, rolled over, struck a 2021 Honda CR-V, and came to rest on its right side.

The Subaru’s driver, Fatuma Yussuf Sharif-Isaack, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she died.
Two passengers, a 20-year-old Fridley woman and a 21-year-old Brooklyn Park woman, were hospitalized at HCMC with non-life-threatening injuries.

One passenger was wearing a seat belt, while the other’s seat belt status is unknown.
The Honda driver, a Maplewood resident, was not injured.
The State Patrol said both vehicles’ airbags either did not deploy or did not deploy for all occupants, and alcohol was not involved. Road conditions were dry.
Responding agencies included Allina EMS, St. Paul Fire, and Ramsey County.
