HUDSON, WI — A St. Paul, Minnesota woman who taught at an elementary school in Hudson, Wisconsin is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old student.

Madison Lynn Bergmann, 24, faces one count of first-degree child sexual assault of a child under age 13. She was arrested last week and released from St. Croix County Jail on a $25,000 bond, the Pioneer Press reported.

On April 29, the student's mother asked Bergmann to stop talking to her son outside of school hours after she discovered the two talking on the phone, according to authorities.

According to authorities, in one text, Bergmann wrote that she: "wanted to just grab your face and push you to the floor and make out with you."

In another text, Bergmann said how she: "almost kissed you when you were on the ground today but I got distracted by your stomach," authorities said.

Officers also found a letter in the boy’s desk in which Bergmann told him: "I love you so much it hurts," the criminal complaint states.

In a police interview, the boy said Bergmann kissed him several times in her classroom, after school and during the lunch period, the criminal complaint adds.

"My daughter thought he was a problem kid,"another student’s mom told The New York Post. "She said that his desk got moved next to [Bergmann’s] a couple of months ago, and she just assumed that he was in trouble."
