A little snowy cheer in Shakopee

If you're not happy with Wednesday's mere dusting of snow, here's a little something meant to bring you holiday cheer. Some Shakopee residents took advantage of the November snow to get some sledding in – a good idea since there hasn't been much measurable snow since.

According to the National Weather Service, the best chance of snow through early next week will be in northeast Minnesota near Lake Superior.

As of Wednesday night, NWS officials predict Christmas Eve weather in Shakopee to be sunny with a high temperature of 34 degrees. Christmas Day is predicted to be even warmer - 36 degrees - and mostly sunny.
