Bruce Mackenthun to Seek Republican Party Endorsement for House District 55A

Bruce Mackenthun has declared his intent to seek the GOP's endorsement for Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District.

Rep. Michael Beard, R-Shakopee, is currently serving his fifth term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

The following is a news release from Mackenthun:

I am seeking the Republican Party Endorsement for House District 55A. 

I am running to represent the people of House District 55A because I believe the seat belongs to the people of district 55A. It does not belong the person sitting in the seat. I trust the people to decide who should represent them. The more choices you have, the better the person representing you will be. I am an energetic problem solver that will work to limit and simplify legislation so people can understand it.

I know whoever wins the Republican Endorsement will be the best candidate to represent the Shakopee area down at the capitol.
