Construction Project Nearly Complete on Highway 13 in Savage

Traffic is now in its permanent configuration but work is still occurring on the median area in the intersection.

There's some good news in the ongoing construction season – as the project at Highway 13 in Savage is nearing completion.

  • Traffic is now in its permanent configuration although work is still occurring on the median area in the intersection.
  • There will be periodic lane closures under the bridge (northbound and southbound Highway 13) and along westbound Highway 101 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. to complete lane striping and to set overhead signs.

The following work occurred during the past week:

  • Paving and underground work was completed in the Hwy 13/101 interchange area, allowing traffic to be shifted to its final configuration.
  • Work on the ponds was completed.
  • Crews continue installing curb along the new turn lanes at the Highway 13/101 interchange and installed sidewalks.
  • Crews continued installing signs, lighting, traffic signals and other traffic control devices.
  • Crews continued laying turf.
  • Crews continued completing punch list items.
