Ex-MN Viking Player Arrested On Suspicion Of Drinking While Driving

Everson Griffen, who still lives in Mound, was arrested on fourth-degree DUI over the weekend.

CHANHASSEN, MN — Former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen was arrested in Chanhassen over the weekend on suspicion of drinking while driving.

Griffen, 35, of Mound was booked into the Carver County Jail at 12:41 p.m. Saturday on fourth degree DUI (operate a motor vehicle over 0.08 within two hours).

He was released exactly an hour later on no bail, jail documents show.
