Expect Alternating Lane Closures Sunday on Northbound Hwy 169
Beginning in early April, the traffic signal on northbound Hwy 169, directly north of I-494, will be put back in service.

There will be alternating lane closures on northbound Hwy 169 between Anderson Lakes Parkway and I-494 on Sunday, March 25, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The lane closures will begin at 7 p.m., and are needed so northbound Hwy 169 traffic can be shifted to the east side of the roadway. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, March 26. The traffic switch was originally scheduled for last week but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Beginning in early April, the traffic signal on northbound Hwy 169, directly north of I-494, will be put back in service. The signal is needed to allow motorists to safely merge onto northbound Hwy 169 from westbound I-494 once southbound Hwy 169 traffic has been rerouted to travel in the northbound lanes. The signal will remain in operation throughout the summer. All other signal lights at the interchange will stay green.
