FBI Believes 'Man in Black' Robbed Bloomington Bank Dec. 7

A $25,000 reward is now being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

The FBI believes a robbery at a Bloomington bank yesterday was committed by the “Man in Black” serial robber who has committed robberies in Shakopee and around the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

On Dec. 7, at approximately 4:20 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at a Premier Bank branch located at 500 98th Street West in Bloomington.  The robber, described as a white male, entered the bank and approached the teller counter with a handgun. The robber demanded and received cash from the victim teller before fleeing the bank.

The robber was described as a white male who stood approximately 5’5” to 5’8” in height, with dark eyes. He wore a black ski mask, a black cotton jacket and brandished a handgun during the robbery.

Special Agent in Charge Donald Oswald, in conjunction with the Minnesota Bankers Association, is offering a reward of $25,000 for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of this individual.
