Gov. Dayton Coming to Shakopee High School Monday
The governor will come to Shakopee for a "Meetings with Mark" town hall event Monday evening.

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton will make the trek from St. Paul on Monday evening for a town hall meeting at Shakopee High School.
Dayton has been touring the state for the last three weeks in what his staff calls "Meetings with Mark" and more than 1,100 Minnesotans have come to similar events in six cities from Moorhead to Rochester.
Monday's town hall meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the high school auditorium.

"The governor will moderate the discussion around his budget and give Minnesotans the opportunity to discuss issues that are important to them," the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees wrote in a statement. "He will give brief opening remarks, but he sees this as an opportunity to have an honest dialogue with Minnesotans on what his budget means to them."
Topics for discussion include education, job creation and economy.
